It is against the ZedUniv Terms of Service to use our service to send "spam," which is unsolicited email. If you send spam, we will delete your group and deactivate your account. We may also pursue legal damages. Our Terms of Service also prohibits the following, which are often associated with spam:

Chain letters
Pyramid schemes
"Get Rich Quick" or "Make Money Fast" (MMF) schemes
Advertise-anything groups
Using or promoting software designed to harvest e-mail addresses

*Note: These are a few examples. ZedUniv customer support retains the right to delete, at our discretion, groups who send spam or violate our Terms of Service. In addition, all ZedUniv members must abide by our Member Guidelines.

ZedUniv is committed to protecting its members from spam. Although no email-based service is completely protected from spam, we take the following measures to protect you:

Group member's email addresses are obscured anywhere they appear on the ZedUniv Web site.
They are available only to the moderator of a particular group.
ZedUniv will remove/ban users who propagate spam.
Anyone added or invited to a group is sent a notification message which includes email addresses to report spam abuse.
Moderators can require their approval of all messages before they are sent, as well as approval of all new subscribers to prevent known spammers from joining their groups.
ZedUniv moves swiftly when it receives a spam report. ZedUniv will ban a member causing repeat or severe spamming problems and delete any group associated with these activities.

If you are the victim of spam on ZedUniv, or one claiming to be sent from ZedUniv, please forward the offending message (as an attachment) to administrator@zils.esselgroup.com and we will take appropriate actions.

Note: it is very important to forward the email you received or we will have no way of tracking the offender.
